Hello Parents and Students;
Welcome to the FADS program! During the semester, we hope to showcase students work online and through the media as well as participate in field trips around Whitehorse. Please fill out the following package and return asap.
In this package you will find:
There is a $100 non-refundable material and pattern fee. This enables students to keep all the garments and accessories that they make and all the patterns that are bought for them. Cash or cheque are accepted and can be made out to: Porter Creek Secondary school, Re: FADS
While in the FADS program, students who live out of the Porter Creek bussing area are provided with Whitehorse transit passes.
This semester I have provided students with a basic sewing kit. We do have fabric scissors on hand, but you are welcome to buy new sharp fabric scissors for your ease and comfort.

- Media consent form
- Simple field trip form (re-occurring field trips)
- Contact information form
- Student behavior contract

- Sketchbook (or use a binder with blank paper)
- Binder: 1.5”
- You may want to consider bringing your own colouring devices (pencil crayons, markers) and fabric scissors but not neccessary.
